Green Tea Thoughts

For the first time in days, I am no longer craving a nap all the time, and I can actually taste my Honest Tea Heavenly Honey Green Tea. If you have not yet tried it, it is a must — it is not as strong as other green teas, is low in caffeine, and is just sweet enough to be a treat, but is low in sugar and calories. Best yet, it is completely organic! I am rambling, but it is truly one of my favorite beverages out there.

I am not quite well enough to smell the DistilledRose candles that I am burning, but that’s ok. I had initially ordered these particular two candles as a gift — one is Maple Syrup scented while the other is called Buttermilk Pancakes. I thought the combination would make a nice gift, but when they arrived, I ended up keeping them for myself.

Green tea is a favorite of mine not just for drinking, but also in beauty products. One of my (now long-time) favorites is Burt’s Bees Green Tea and Fennel Seed Color Keeper Shampoo and Conditioner, which I reviewed last year. Another green tea product that I love is 100% Pure’s Organic Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream. While the name might imply otherwise, the cream is actually made of an green and white tea base in addition to green coffee. It does wonders for depuffing the undereye area but, unlike other depuffing products (like say Origins No Puffery treatment) is also very moisturizing.

I love green tea in skincare products too! Shu’s Premium cleansing oil and Topix Replenix Green tea cream are fabulous – both work well on my oily skin đŸ˜€
