Beauty Monday – Crabtree and Evelyn’s Naturals Products in Milk, Soy and Sugar

by Valerie on January 26, 2009 · 6 comments

Last winter, I started trying out different items in the Crabtree and Evelyn’s Naturals line – all the products are free of parabens, mineral oils and sulfates. I particularly like the Comforting Shower Foam in Milk Soy Sugar (pictured to the left) and the In-Shower Moisturizer in Milk Soy Sugar. Milk Soy Sugar is a lovely scent – creamy and sugary and milky. Perfect for cold winter days. The texture of the Shower Foam is amazing – it’s a light airy mousse, yet chemical-free. The In-Shower Moisturizer is like a lotion, but you apply it in the shower and rinse off, which means that the moisture really gets locked in. When it’s particularly cold, I will use the In-Shower Moisturizer and still follow-up with lotion, and I definitely have no issues with dry skin or itchies with that combination. Crabtree and Evelyn has some good sales too — including on the In-Shower Moisturizers right now. Picture from Crabtree and Evelyn website.

Ooh, my current favorite is the mango cranberry in that series. I have the shower foam and in-shower moisturizer and they’re amazing!

I like this as well. I am a bit dry for it now, but when I am more oily in the summer it works like a charm for me! I like the scent as well, as it is very versatile.

This sounds like a fragrance I would love! I use to manage a Crabtree and Evelyn in California. I think that was my favorite job of all because I’d come home smelling SOOOO clean. :)

Noodlegirl – ah, makes sense. It’s nice when you can change environments for just a few months.

RTW – aren’t they yummy?

JennDZ – I mainly order online. They have good sales, just a matter of waiting for them :)

Karley – on its own, the in-shower moisturizer isnt quite enough in winter, but it packs quite a punch when you use that in the shower and then use a body butter after.

Michelle – it is a really yummy line.
