Beauty Monday – CocoaPink’s Soulmate Conditioner

by Valerie on March 30, 2009 · 9 comments

Beauty Monday is a weekly feature focusing on green beauty, paraben-free skincare and the beauty industry and marketing.

I am a huge fan of CocoaPink bath and body products. I could talk about them for hours, but today I wanted to focus on CocoaPink’s Soulmate conditioner – I have pretty fine hair, so it’s rare that a deep conditioner is not too heavy for me. Yet this one is just perfect. It’s rich but not heavy, and has lovely botanical extracts like green tea, nettle, lavender, and calendula. This conditioner is the reason that the cold dry air this winter did not make my hair complete over-dried. It is also very useful to protect your hair if you use a lot of heat on it (hair dryers, flat irons). A 6oz jar (the size you see on the picture of an order I received a couple of months ago, on the right) lasts for a long time, especially because it’s so rich you only need a little bit. There are always many scents options in addition to the regular unscented option. If you hair took a beating and is not feeling its best as the nice weather arrives, this is a great product to try.

CocoaPink is an indie etailer that started in late 2007 and has grown really quickly. Items are handmade so turnaround can be a few weeks, but it is well worth it. Everything is paraben-free and of excellent quality.

Noodlegirl – it’s great stuff!

Drriftwood – I love Junket too! By the way, I am slowly importing the content from my beauty blog into the archives of this blog – I would rather have it all in one place.

I love Soulmate in the winter and Junket for now. I love it Signature White, especially.

I have to agree – my stylist recently told me I have fine hair (a lot of it so it looks thicker, but still fine-textured) and this stuff is great. 😀 Thanks for introducing me to it!
