Fashion Musings – Ann Taylor Loft Cardigan

by Valerie on April 3, 2009 · 5 comments

I have a complicated relationship with cardigans – I love them because they are comfortable and classic, but I don’t love buttons. They always end up looking fussy for some reason. So I have really liked the shawl-collared type cardigans of this last winter – though come to think of it, I have a love-hate relationship with the two I own – they were too long but not long enough to be sweater coats.

And you know, in fact, many of my cardigans have gotten a bit shapeless over time. And have I mentioned how they wear out? I gave up buying anything more than medium-end because even high-end cardigans get holes in the elbow area if worn too much.

See, I told you this is a complicated relationship.

I am hoping this cute little cardigan from Ann Taylor Loft helps remedy my complicated relationship. I got two black ones because none of the colors looked right on me (originally I wanted to get 1 purple or white and 1 black one). I love pima cotton as it’s soft and comfortable, perfect for spring and summer, and this is exactly what this cardigan is. What fun. Happy Friday! Picture from Ann Taylor Loft website

I like that. I wear black almost all the time on top and this looks like it’d be nice for a chilly spring evening in NY.

Let us know how it works for you!
