Happy Weekend!

Outside Baked and Wired, Washington, DC

Happy Friday – No, I am not riding off on this bike this weekend – but isn’t it adorable? I saw it outside Baked and Wired a few weeks ago. I write lots of lists to myself, but not often on here. Yet – I am completely inspired by the lists I have seen in recent weeks over at Tranquility du Jour, Gussying up the Tuttle, Naturally Nina, Hang on Little Tomato, and Rockstar Diaries (*love* her happiness lists).

So… I am sharing my fun to-do’s for the weekend with you:

*Sushi tonight – I always love it, but I am particularly in a phase right now

*A pedicure with a new friend. I love old friends, but new friends are lovely too.

*A jaunt to Hana, my neighborhood Japanese grocery story, to feed my seaweed addiction. I have been wrapping up rice and leftover cooked fish into handrolls for lunches at work – perfect for hot summer days and on-the-go eating.

*Saturday night at home with husband – we cook and watch movies and unwind from our (usually long) weeks and it makes me very happy. I love being boring.

*Dupont Farmer’s Market, early on Sunday

And, most definitely, a nap at some point, because I sorely need one.

My less-fun list, in addition to mundane errands, does include reorganizing my vanity, which has become quite the disaster area, and emptying my work purse, also a disaster area. If I am not too frightened by the contents of my purse, I will post about those next week! Purse contents are such a window into someone’s personality.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Omg! I have so been avoiding going through my work purse/tote bag/carry-all/scourge of my existence. As much as I hate rifling through it every time I need to find something, I have yet to clean it out. It’s just way too scary!
