I am not quite sure how Vienna of Ones found me a few weeks ago, but she did, and I am so grateful because we are now both sharing our writing and challenges through SWIM, an online writing group.

Dear 14-year-old V,
Stop worrying about your height. I promise you are going to be taller than what everyone says now you will be. It’s true!
Keep writing. You might abandon your dreams at some point but they’ll come back even stronger. You are a writer. Ah! And there are loads of people out there like you! You will find kindred spirits all along your life. You’ll never be alone. Smile!
