Happy Snow Day!

December Storm

Wow, it is really snowing hard.  I am curled up under a blanket on the daybed with the laptop {I am working at home today} and some water. When it eases up a bit, husband and I will go outside for a bit, but I think I will skip yin yoga this afternoon.  I am in awe of the Dupont location of  Tranquilspace for being open, but the thought of going out in the cold after a warming yoga class just chills me.  It is really coming down, to the point where metro is shutting down all above-ground stations as of 1pm.  And look how thick the snow is outside the window:

More storm

I think I need another blanket, and maybe some rice milk hot chocolate later this afternoon.  And a nap.

Is it snowing where you are? What are you up to?

Isn't the snow beautiful? I love it. Hope you are keeping warm and having a nice day inside.

It snowed last night in Ohio and I find myself debating my plans for the day. To go to a party out in the world, or to stay beneath a blanket and take in the beauty in the seasons (or clean the house frantically for my parents' impending visit).

Your rice milk hot chocolate sounds like something I need to try. What's your favorite brand of hot chocolate, and do you just heat with rice milk?

Have a beautiful snow day!

Wow that is some snow you got going. I am on the complete opposite end. It is 75 to 80 degrees in sunny Honolulu Hawaii

I'm in dc too, so i'm hanging out at home. I spent the whole day in the city yesterday– there's no way I can brave the snow again till I absolutely have to.
