First a Mad Men clothing line at Banana Republic, and now Mad Men dolls? I realize that the giggles is probably not the reaction the makers of these Mad Men Barbie dolls had in mind, but I find them kind of funny in concept, but kind of sad. in demeanor. Either way, I do agree that this is a new level of pop culture phenomenon, and since I enjoy the show (when it is not depressing, that is), I hope for several more seasons.

I actually love these. This is how all the original Barbie dolls looked. Joan reminds me of the Midge doll from the early 60s that I inherited from my cousin. She was Barbie's first BFF. I actually had the original Barbie (also from my cousin). That doll is worth thousands! Unfortunately, my mother gave away all my Barbie dolls when I went away to college. Grrr!
