Foodalogue’s Culinary Tour Around the World

by Valerie on March 3, 2009 · 1 comment

Tomorrow will be the usual What’s Cooking Wednesday, but I wanted to preview it with a little bit of information on the blog event to which I am submitting tomorrow’s post. Joan of Foodalogue started a wonderful journey in January, where every week she researches and cooks dishes from a different country – a virtual world tour, through food, but also one to highlight Bloggeraid, a network of food bloggers started by Equal Opportunity Kitchen, Ivy of Kopiaste, and Val of More Than Burnt Toast. Bloggeraid was formed to raise awareness of hunger and to hold several fundraisers – including the current one: a cookbook of original recipes by food bloggers.

Foodalogue’s itinerary has been farflung – she started in Norway, then cooked her way across several European countries, to Ethiopia and Russia, and this week to India. I encourage you to read through the various posts – they are all fascinating. And come back tomorrow for an easy Indian recipe here at What’s Cooking Wednesday.

This looks fun and interesting. I’m sure I’ll gain a few pounds just reading all the foodie blogs!
