As you may have noticed, I have changed around the layout of the blog. The most important change is that I have taken out any labels of specific store names or indie etailer names. Having the names as labels was making the list of labels terribly long and unwieldy. I was trying to pick and choose names to keep, but also did not want to give additional exposure to particular brands when, let’s face it (1) there are MANY brands I like and (2) my interests ebb and flow so I may still love a brand but not have written about it in months.
Rather than just talk about beauty-related stuff, I am also giving myself license to talk more about other things I love, like organic cooking and urban living and restaurants and books and paper products and libraries and bookstores and coffeeshops and and life in general. I find that my interest in beauty is as much for lifestyle as aesthetics, and ties into all my other interests. To keep to the focus on the blog I have had to take out many tangential musings and I want to stop doing that. So you will still get all the good beauty musings chatter but there will be the occasional lifestyle prattle woven in. I am hoping it will add to the blog rather than detract it, but only time will tell.
