Stila Summer Palette

When I was at Sephora yesterday, I spied the Stila Summer Palette, which contains some longstanding Stila shimmer eyeshadows. It retails at $40 which, considering an individual eyeshadow pan is $20, makes the palette great for travel or just for trying out some new Stila colors. You can always buy your favorites as eyeshadow pans at the end of the summer!

Here are the colors:

Wheat — this is one of my staples. It’s a lovely silvery beige that can be worn alone as a wash, with bronzes, with black eyeliner, with brown eyeliner, or with a pop of color like a green or blue eyeliner.

Kitten – a shimmering nude pink. I really like it as a highlighter on the browbone but can be used as a wash.

Ray — a shimmering golden copper. It would look great as an accent to Kitten or Prize, a lovely soft gold.

Mystic — I would pair this shimmering aqua with Wheat, either as a liner or in the crease.

Prize – a true soft gold shimmer with no green undertones. It’s soft enough it can be used as a wash and paired with any other shadow in the palette (and many other shadows in general).

Sun – a shimmering golden peach that would look lovely with Ray.

Do check this palette out. The colors are lovely and the packaging sturdy.
