As you may already know, I am very picky with bronzers. Some of it is that many of them turn orange on me, but some of it is that I don’t like them too matte or too shimmery. For years I have been a regular use of Nars Laguna bronzer. I never thought I would find one that looked more natural on me. I always add a tiny bit of blush so that I am not just bronzed.
Well, Bobbi Brown changed it all with this year’s Illuminating Bronzing Powder. It has all the perfect properties of a bronzer – subtle, not too light reflecting yet not matte, and, as a bonus, no need to add extra blush, as all the shades have a little extra rosy-ness. I am pale so use Antigua, but there is a wide range of shades. I am tempted by Maui (the one pictured to the left).
