Reviewing November Goals

Squash

I can’t believe it is December today!  That means it is time to review my November goals:
* Focus on being present – Check! This actually was incredibly gratifying to do.
* Increase me time – Check! I got in a good amount of yoga, journaling and even a bit of collaging in.
* Be more active on twitter- sort of check.  I did spend more time engaging on twitter, but not very consistently.  Any tips?
* Start on holiday cards – Check! I started my list and thinking about the different types of cards I plan to sent.
* Figure out vacation days for the next couple of months – Sort of check.
* Spend more time with my MP3 player {I know  this is second-nature to so many of you, but I tend to neglect using mine} – Fail.  I am setting aside an afternoon when I take off time around Christmas to focus on this.
* Make lots of different squash recipes – Check, check, check! I made many new-to-me recipes this past month, including roasted butternut squash with shallots, acorn squash with cilantro vinaigrette and sweet and spicy kabocha squash. I made the acorn and kabocha recipes twice each – they are both really that yummy! I also made delicata squash a few times.  Towards the end of the month, I tried spaghetti squash for the first time and am completely obsessed with it, so expect recipes soon.
* Keep up doing yoga twice a week – Check until mid month, but then fail.

Nice work on your November goals! All of your squash recipes sound fabulous!! I'm hungry after running through your list of recipes! (I'm a huge squash lover… when I was a baby my mom used to buy crates of it to make for me!) : )

Beautiful photo too, by the way!!

great work on your november goals – can't wait to hear what you're going to focus on this month! one thing that helps me stay connected on twitter is using http://www.twaitter.com. you can schedule tweets about links, quotes, etc and worry about connecting with people during your free time. also, listening to podcasts helps me use my mp3 player more often. hugs, ♥kaileenelise

good job on those yummy squash recipes! And all your other goals – I think you did a bang-up job! I listen to my iPod while I run, but I'm so addicted to podcasts (I have the most random collection. Philosophy Bites anyone?), and I listen while bathing and while falling asleep. And, of course, on the plane. Carry it in your pocketbook…this helps. Happy December!

Glad you're doing well on these. Sorry I haven't been by much – life on this end has been… swamped.
