I was so excited to find this new product at Whole Foods recently. I had seen it online, but did not want to order a case of 12 until I had at least sampled it.  And guess what, these are that good – a case of 12 will soon be on its way to me from Amazon.  I have been eating Mary’s Gone Crackers since I began avoiding wheat and corn last year.  The Original and Herb varieties are my favorites, so I was excited to try this new Mary’s Gone Crackers Sticks and Twigs concept.  You see, I really miss pretzels, and all the gluten-free pretzels I have found are made with cornstarch as the first ingredient, or contain dairy or eggs.  These new Sticks and Twigs do not taste like pretzels, but their texture is very similar  in terms of crunchiness and, well, stick-like-ness.  And, in addition to being gluten-free and corn-free, they are also vegan and have chia seeds and 4 grams of protein per serving. And they are crunchy and satisfying.  My Whole Foods had the new Sticks and Twigs in Sea Salt and Chipotle Tomato flavors, and the Sea Salt was my favorite of the two, but that is probably because I love love love sea salt flavored anything. I see there is also a Curry flavor, but for now I am so sticking to the Sea Salt ones.  I eat them as is, or dipped in hummus or whichever dip recipe I am currently trying out,  Incidentally, I am on a sunflower pate/dip kick, but have not yet found a recipe I truly love – I thought I would love Ani Phyo’s version (I mean, look at these pictures here) but did not. Any suggestions for sunflower seed-based dips or any other type of nut- or seed-based spread?

Ohhh those sound delicious! I recently bought my first Mary's Gone Crackers in cracked pepper–haven't tried them yet but I can't wait.
