My Fav (Top 10) Recipes from Last Week (12/21 to 12/27)

by Valerie on December 28, 2010 · 7 comments

I have  been a fan of Aubree Cherie’s weekly Top Ten Recipe Lists for several months.  Like Aubree, I avoid gluten, dairy and refined sugars, so the recipes she lists are generally recipes I do not have to modify much to be able to partake.  I also love Aubree’s infectious optimism and tone that permeate her blog.  I was so excited when Aubree posted asking for guest bloggers to host a Top Ten Tuesday recipe list while she is travelling around the world as part of her horticulture studies this month.  Below are my Top Ten for this week, drawing from a combination of blogs you know I refer to often and some new-to-me blogs as well.

Scalloped Sweet Potato Dessert
(Aubree from Living Without)

Cinnamon Pecan Brittle
(Elana from Elana’s Pantry)

Vanilla Shake
(Kelly from The Spunky Coconut)

Sweet Green Smoothies
(Kim from Affairs of Living)

African Sweet Potato Stew
(Ricki from Diet, Dessert and Dogs)

Inside Out Chocolate Chip Truffles
(Lori and Michelle from Pure2Raw)

Breese and Snackers
(Meghan from Making Love in the Kitchen)

Molasses Spice Cookies
(Iris from The Daily Dietribe)

Cranberry Sauce Muffins
(Tia from Glugle GlutenFree)

Vegan Strawberry Ice Cream
(Valerie from City|Life|Eats)

Next week, Aubree’s Top Ten recipe list will be hosted by Heather from Gluten Free Cat.

I love these Top 10 lists, too, especially since I almost always find at least one recipe I haven't seen and want to try! Thanks so much for including the stew (and glad you liked it!) 😀

Oh, what a great roundup, Valerie! Some I'd seen and some not, but must check the latter out for sure. Oh to be able to sample all of these each week! 😉

Sorry, I'm a bit late. But thank you so much for including me. I was eying that ice cream of yours. Mmm. Strawberry.
