{Today’s Lunchbox} Old and New Favorites

two lunchboxes 005

The weekend went by way way too fast.  I feel like I blinked and it was gone.  Does anyone else feel this way?

Today’s lunchbox contains some old and new favorites.

Old favorites:

  • Stir-fry made by my husband
  • White Beans with Sage, smothered in nutritional yeast
  • Kale and banana smoothie

New favorites:

  • Grab-And-Go Breakfast Bar from Ricki’s new ebook Top of the Morning: Breakfasts without Sugar, Gluten, Eggs or Dairy, which should be out in the next few weeks. I am done recipe testing, but I keep making this recipe.
  • Ginger Mashed Sweet Potatoes & Apples
  • Cashew Mayo, to add a bit of zing to the white beans

Both the mashed sweet potatoes and the cashew mayo are from Appetite for ReductionAs you might remember, one of my current cooking projects is basing a lot of my meals on this book:

Appetite for Reduction: 125 Fast and Filling Low-Fat Vegan Recipes

Old favorites + new favorites = lunch and two to three snacks = win-win

Have a great day.

You really do have the most interesting lunches! Is that the Grab-and-Go bar in the upper right corner? :) Looks yummy!

@Alissa – indeed!

@Cheryl – the bars are fantastic!

@Bitt – yes it is a Laptop Lunchbox. I received it from the company to use on my blog and have been really liking it. I plan to do a full review of it soon.
