I hope all my U.S. friends had a lovely July 4. We got home from seeing the fireworks a little while ago – somehow the long weekend got away from though getting epically glutened mid-way through did not help – ah Firefly, you used to be such a great go-to place for me, but after yesterday, I am taking a little break from you. I am off to get myself (somewhat) organized for the next couple of days. In the meantime, enjoy the lovely fireworks pictures which my husband took.

Oh no Firefly! What happened?! The fireworks look nice though.
Great fireworks shots, but I'm so sorry about you being glutened at a favorite spot. That just plain stinks. Hope you recover well and quickly, dear!
