Rave for 100% Pure

So for months I have been wishing for natural organic and paraben free skincare products with lots of lavender and chamomille (for combating redness) and a healthy dose of green tea.

Somehow, 100% Pure is very in sync with those same ingredients!! Hillary introduced me to this brand back when they were mainly a bath and body company with a very small facial skincare selection. Now they are expanding into cosmetics (with fruit pigments!) and more skincare.

So far I have tried three products and am impressed enough to go back for more. I have always loved their scrubs and washes (made with real fruit no less) but their skincare is even better!

I tried the Lavender Honey Foam Facial Cleanser first. Sure enough the combination of lavender and honey completely calmed down any redness. As much as I like to use Chagrin Valley soaps on my face, I do like the convenience of liquid cleansers that have the same wonderful ingredients (remember my honey obsession!). I don’t like that 100% Pure’s liquid face washes come in a glass bottle almost identical to hot sauce bottles — I find them clunky and I don’t like glass jars and bottles when I have wet hands, you know? But I can overlook the packaging downsides because this wash is AMAZING — it has surpassed my Zia’s Fresh Cleansing Gel as my favorite liquid wash of choice. It does smell a bit herbal, but the lavender is doing great things to my skin, which usually gets a bit red on contact with water.

I am also really liking the Organic Coffee Bean Eye Cream. It really makes a difference on my undereye area, and I am starting to think that caffeine does indeed tighten and improve circles. It is not quite moisturizing enough for me to use under my undereye concealer, but I am notorious for needing a lot of moisture under my eyes to avoid concealer creasing. For most, the Organic Coffee Bean Eye Cream would be plenty moisturizing, although you might need less concealer considering its great results in lessening undereye darkness.

Finally, I also tried the Organic Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration with SPF 15. My biggest problem with natural facial moisturizers is that even the light ones don’t usually wear well under makeup. But 100% Pure, again, comes to the rescue. This wore very well under my tinted moisturizer, even slightly better than my Juice Beauty products.

As I mentioned above, 100% Pure now has cosmetics too. And they are currently on sale at QVC

Have a wonderful weekend! according to the 100% Pure website. Very nifty.

Glad you have tried this brand! I am anxious to try their cosmetics…you should try out some Korres products, as well. They are fairly similar, but are my favorite retail natural line of skincare.
