As I mentioned about a month ago, Bobbi Brown repackaged her Chocolate collection from last year into a darling little Best of Chocolate palette. It is adorable. I generally don’t like having lipsticks in palette form, but I have been waiting so long for a Chocolate re-launch (not buying the palette was one of my few beauty regrets ever) that I am thrilled to get lip colors and eye shadows in one place.
Of course, I had to go visit Diron yesterday to pick up my palette and also get some tips on doing my friend Christina’s makeup for her wedding this coming Saturday. Diron did a fabulous job with my makeover — he paired the Best of Chocolate with the newly arrived Pink Quartz Shimmerbrick. Compared to the Pink and Rose bricks, the Pink Quartz is more wearable — it’s a soft golden pink.
Spending time with Diron is always great fun. We discussed how Bobbi had used pretty much every color possible in her shimmerbricks. I think the Apricot is still my favorite but her latest two, Sandstone and Pink Quartz, are strong contenders.

I still need to pick up the Pink Quartz shimmerbrick! I really hope that’s not her last…she needs a plum one! Brownie is kinda plummy but I want something more purple. đŸ˜€
