Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Part 4: The Blush

by Valerie on April 26, 2008 · 0 comments

I seriously considered not reviewing the Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Blush because it’s terrible. I rarely give something such a negative review. I firmly believe that every makeup product is a fit for someone. My favorite blushes are the high-end and notoriously easy to apply and foolproof Nars and Shu Umuera blushes, but I have found drugstore blushes that are easy to apply and lovely.

The Organic Wear blush totally broke that belief. I have spent the last two weeks testing this product out twice a day, in various colors. Despite switching around brushes I used to apply it and what products I wore underneath it, it will NOT look good. It streaks, it applies unevenly, and it is most certainly NOT finely milled like the powder and the pressed bronzer that I reviewed last week.

Blush is supposed to be effortless. Just an added pop of color. This is not effortless. I tried three different colors (Rosy, Pink and Blushing). I probably would have tried every color (this became an obsession) if I had another week, but I wanted to give you the update and honestly I was sick of my blush looking only ok after 5 minutes of buffing and fixing. That’s just not worth it.
