Fashion Musings – News on Bratique Helene

I thought Mother’s Day weekend would be the perfect time to update you all on Bratique Helene. As you remember, Carissa named Bratique after her mother, Helene – in fact, she wrote a really touching post for Mother’s Day over on her blog. I loved loved loved the shirts Carissa Brown sent me to try and review a couple of months ago.

I spoke to Carissa recently via email, and there have been some very exciting new developments in her business, including the fact she was on Good Morning Texas to talk about Bratique Helene’s various fabulous products. If you watch the clip, you’ll see both the white shirt and the blue wrap shirts I talked about in my review, as well as two newer items – a shirtwaist dress and a tunic.

In the last few months, I bought a couple of the sleeveless shells, and they are also a fabulous concept – they are made of charmeuse, which means they are silky on the outside but matte on the inside, so super comfortable and not sticky. Carissa said there will be more designs made with charmeuse in the fall line. I can’t wait! Picture courtesy of Bratique Helene.
