I know I have mentioned Biagio Fine Chocolate before, but I really owe you some pictures of this amazing place. It’s a chocolate store that elevates chocolate to an art – and I do love how they combine a selection of amazing chocolates from local chocolatiers and farflung ones as well.
And they have Vosges, which was one my favorites when I lived in New York:
Vosges is on 18th Street between Dupont and Adams Morgan – it’s a bit tucked away, but this is what the outside sign looks like:
It is very much worth checking out, as the chocolate selection is vast and the staff incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Last winter, I had a long phase of trying all sorts of salted caramel sweets, so my husband went to Biagio and got me four kinds of salted caramel chocolates, all scrumptious and beautiful yet very different from each other:
