Husband and I just got back tonight from upstate New York. We were at a wedding in Utica, NY on Saturday, and stayed in downtown Utica. From our hotel room window we saw some wonderful fireworks – they were unrelated to the wedding we attended, and we saw no indication that the fireworks were part of a festival or event in this small city, so they were truly a random and delightful bit of joy.
