Thanks for this post! The ovarian cancer post is so important!
As for satisficer versus maximizer, I am a mix of both..Ok..who am I kidding, I am a maximizer-especially when it comes to buying stuff like cosmetics, bath and body stuff etc.. No actually I do think I may be a satisficer too- as once products meet my (high) standards, I do buy them. But that doesn't stop me from doing more research. The funny thing is, the research usually ends in me wanted to DIY. Like when I started getting interested in perfume- within a few months I wanted to make my own and bought a bunch of essential oils and absolutes. Same for creams etc.
LOL..I can't believe I just wrote down all that..
i didn't sign up for 'the joy diet' right away even though i had a blast with the 'wreck this journal.' i thought with my massage therapy classes coming up that i might be trying to take on too much. but then i thought, there is no way i can miss out on all of the fun!! can't wait for it to start! so glad you are joining in this time.
I am so excited for the book club to start, CGL.
I learned a great deal about myself when I did "The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women."
Reading The Joy Diet, though, has greatly impacted me already…doing the exercises helped me reach my recent difficult decision 🙂
Great links, and how great on The Joy Diet! Keep us posted 😀
P.S. Thanks for the link love!
Love this list. I also found out I'm a satisficer, too.
