On Tea and Donations

by Valerie on January 19, 2010 · 6 comments

This past weekend, I was so very lucky to meet up with Lauren of Everyday Revelry and Carolyn from Hang on Little Tomato at Teaism. I indulged in soba cha (my latest tea obsession) and was delighted to spend time with Lauren and Carolyn.  Then I came home and cooked a couple of dishes from my latest cookbook obsession, Vegan Yum Yum.  And I reflected on how very lucky I am, especially of when I think of Haiti.  So many bloggers have posted with links on how to donate to Haiti, so I am linking a few here: Naturally Nina; Noshtopia and Adventures in Shaw.  I am off now to think about gratitude some more.

I am grateful, and have decided to join my friend in e-mailing him every day to share a few things. He e-mails me his every morning and they really make my day. And so glad you girls got to have a nice visit. Take care.

I'm so envious that all three of you had a chance to get together and have tea! The next time I'm in DC, we are definitely getting together!
