Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Part 3: Bronzer

I was excited to try the Physician’s Formula Organic Wear Powder Bronzer. It has similar ingredients to the pressed powder that I reviewed yesterday PLUS when I was in the store selecting which one to buy, I noticed the Fair Skin Bronzer looked like it would have a similar look to one of my favorite bronzers, Nars Laguna which is great to warm up fair to medium complexions.

I tried this bronzer several times. It does indeed give a Nars Laguna look, but minus the slight shimmer. In some ways, this makes it more perfect than Laguna for a natural look (or a conservative work environment) but I like the slight shimmer in Laguna because it gives a more airbrushed look. The Organic Wear bronzer does take a little more buffing with a bronzer brush to get a a finished look.

The biggest downside, and why you should keep your receipt if you try this very good product, is that it oxidized on my skin and went slightly orange. I was very sad about it, but back to CVS it had to go. That said, it is worth trying because if it does not morph, it really is a lovely product.
