Dwindling Pearls…

by Valerie on August 21, 2009 · 4 comments

I am realizing today that the precious stash of not-yet-posted pearls is dwindling. I only have 3 pearls left to post, so am saving them for next week. However, pearl submission is ongoing – you can submit a pearl at anytime and I will gladly post it. In fact, you can submit a pearl even if you have already submitted a pearl or two.

* How to submit a pearl

* Please also feel free to send pictures for your pearls. They can be your own pictures or pictures that can be reproduced under the Creative Commons license. A small request, though: I want the pearls to feel universal and not tied to a person or painting or statue, so bear that in mind when choosing your pictures

* Not sure what you want to write? Check out this post

* Finally, pearls do not have to be shiny and happy – pearls are about wisdom and learning, and that can be sad and hard too. So please don’t feel limited if every pearl you think of has a dark side – I would still so appreciate your submission

Just catching up on your blog (my google reader was about to explode). I have loved the pearls – has really made me think and I really wish we could have received them when we were younger.

Hi City Girl,

I loved your idea of Pearls so much that I felt compelled to use a similar version on my own blog.

I thought you might want to take a look!

Thank you so much for your inspiration. I found your blog through BlissChick's blog, and am so glad I did. :)

All the best,
Jenny
