* Michelle of Bleeding Espresso is focusing on Ovarian Cancer Awareness this month – do check out this very important information and giveaway

* Melita’s Tea Trade is starting this month – the deadline to join is fast approaching!

* As a long-time Just Bento reader, I was excited to see bentos get coverage in the New York Times. Also see this piece on how bentos may likely become a huge trend

* Everything you ever wanted to know about Modge Podge {I just started using it a couple of years ago and it is fun}, though this blog on decoupage has an even better Modge Podge guide

* The Happiness Project examines the satisficer versus maximizer contrast and its effect on happiness? I am very much a satisficer – what about you?

And finally:

* I decided to join an online bookclub for the book the Joy Diet. And as I peek around the web, though, I am realizing some of my favorite bloggers {like Melita, Karley, Carolyn and Ellecubed) are going to be joining as well – how cool is that?

Thanks for this post! The ovarian cancer post is so important!

As for satisficer versus maximizer, I am a mix of both..Ok..who am I kidding, I am a maximizer-especially when it comes to buying stuff like cosmetics, bath and body stuff etc.. No actually I do think I may be a satisficer too- as once products meet my (high) standards, I do buy them. But that doesn't stop me from doing more research. The funny thing is, the research usually ends in me wanted to DIY. Like when I started getting interested in perfume- within a few months I wanted to make my own and bought a bunch of essential oils and absolutes. Same for creams etc.
LOL..I can't believe I just wrote down all that..

i didn't sign up for 'the joy diet' right away even though i had a blast with the 'wreck this journal.' i thought with my massage therapy classes coming up that i might be trying to take on too much. but then i thought, there is no way i can miss out on all of the fun!! can't wait for it to start! so glad you are joining in this time.

I am so excited for the book club to start, CGL.

I learned a great deal about myself when I did "The 12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women."

Reading The Joy Diet, though, has greatly impacted me already…doing the exercises helped me reach my recent difficult decision :)

Love this list. I also found out I'm a satisficer, too.
