My Fav (Top 10) Recipes from Last Week (3/7 to 3/14)

by Valerie on March 15, 2011 · 5 comments

I am guest-hosting Aubree’s weekly Top 10 Recipes this week and next while Aubree is volunteering in Swaziland and Lesotho.  You might remember I guest-hosted this same event a couple of months ago last time Aubree was traveling.  If you are not familiar with Aubree’s blog Living Free, I encourage you to check it out.  Aubree has great recipes and her energy and radiance come through her writing and her blog.

(Iris from The Daily Dietribe)
(Gena from Choosing Raw)

(Evan from The Wannabe Chef)
(Michelle and Lori from Pure2Raw)
(Beth from Delectably Free)
(Ricki from Diet, Dessert and Dogs)

The tenth recipe should be the host’s, but things have been so busy I have mainly been cooking other people’s delicious recipes, or revisiting old favorites – actually, more accurately, my husband has been cooking other people’s recipes (like Appetite for Reduction, which we are cooking from this month).  That said, you should check out my Pink-Topped Carob Smoothie, if you would like a dose of cheer, even if it is from a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for including me! This list of recipes is mouth-watering. That German Chocolate Cake has me ready to break out the baking pan.

Of course I went straight for the sweet stuff! The recipes for the pumpkin spice muffins and cranberry chocolate blossoms look amazing. I've bookmarked both. Thanks Valerie!

I love these Top 10 lists because they always give me so many new recipes I want to try! Like Alisa, I'm all for the sweet stuff. The Cherry Blossoms and fudge both sound spectacular–not to mention German Chocolate cake! Maybe I'll need to eat some canellini beans or pasta before I head to the desserts. 😉 Thanks so much for including me in this list!
